The Collective March
The Collective is a concert march commission by the Texas Tech Red Raider Collective, a selective trombone choir made of the top trombonists at Texas Tech University. the piece was premiered at the International Trombone Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2023, and was further performed by the Flatland Low Brass Choir in 2024. The piece follows a standard march form, but with some variations, as the first half is in 2/4 time and the second half is in 6/8 time. Also featuring a rousing fugato for its break strain, this fun march will add excitement to your next trombone or low brass performance.
